Santosha Yoga Institute has been teaching, guiding and mentoring yoga students for over a decade. What began as a Northern New South Wales yoga studio has evolved into a global learning institution with courses delivered in three countries and via digital delivery. Santosha Yoga Institute pours a lot of passion into providing a highly personalised experience where students can train to become a teacher themselves, or strengthen and further advance their own yoga practices.

The Issue

Santosha Yoga Institute pride themselves on being a guiding light of authenticity and humble authority in the yoga space and to provide that kind of service as they continue to grow, they need the right systems in place. 

They had been using Infusionsoft and there’s a reason we colloquially call it “Confusionsoft” in the industry – it’s just too hard for most people to use it to its potential which can create problems that just don’t exist with a more user friendly platform.

Santosha Yoga Institute knew what they wanted their system to do but weren’t able to make it work for them and their goals and it was starting to impact the quality of their database.

They came to Greenfish Marketing to find a way to optimise software and systems that let them do what they love the way they like to work, but also offered a way to automate and further personalise their student experience. They’d experienced one too many frustrations and limitations from their old email marketing and CRM solutions and needed something that could support them now, and as they continue to grow.

When we started working with Santosha Yoga Institute, we did some exploration into how they actually work, and made sure their business processes were supporting them and the way they teach, before moving onto the right software solution. 

Having a robust CRM was only the first step for the Santosha Yoga Institute. While working together, we: 

  • Took the time to understand how Santosha Yoga Institute already work so that we could implement solutions that genuinely suited where they are now and where they aspire to be in the future. 
  • As a lot of the work the institute does is hands-on teaching, we focused on creating intuitive and responsive workflows that enabled the software to do most of the work for them, which meant they can spend more time in the classroom (physical and virtual) and less time in the office. 
  • Set up automated but highly personalised communication that created funnels that increased sales conversions and built stronger relationships with past, current, future and potential students. 
  • Restructured and cleaned their Infusionsoft data before importing to ActiveCampaign and setting their new system up in a way that made customer data easier to use and maintain moving forward.
